Direct Rail Servcies
Direct Rail Services were established in 1995 and are a supplier of transport and associated services to the nuclear industry. Ast Transport Branding has been working with DRS for over five years. We have designed and fitted livery to a selection of Class 20, 37, 47 and 57 locos along with many carriages.
Direct Rail Services have their head office in Carlisle and employ over 300 staff throughout the UK.
The trains that Ast Transport Branding has wrapped are a mixture of full vinyl wraps and cut vinyl text. You can see from the images below some examples of the locos that we have wrapped. There are various images during the fitting in the workshops and a few finished images when the DRS trains are in action.
Correct Application Environment
It is very important for the trains to be wrapped inside as the air temperature needs to be at least 10 degrees. It is recommended that the temperature is not below 5 degrees as the vinyl can become brittle and the fitters can’t work with it.
