Our very own Nathan Aston has finished off an exciting year by being awarded one of five rising star awards at the recent Cumbria Sports Awards.
14 year old Nathan has had an incredible year racing and his highlight was probably joining the McLaren Driver Development Programme where Lewis Hamilton started out. The Driver Development programme hopes to find the next generation of Formula 1 drivers for its Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team.
What does 2012 hold for Nathan?
In 2012 Nathan is hoping to compete in the European and British championships again where he is hoping for some top-five finishes.
