Nick Clegg takes a look at Ast Signs work while visiting Mersey Multimodal Gateway
Date: 07-12-2011Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg visited the Mersey Multimodal Gateway in Widnes yesterday the 6 December, as part of a tour of Regional Growth Fund Supported Projects in the North West. He announced that there would be more money and new jobs for the region.
Haulage firm Stobart will receive £9m as a contribution towards a £139m expansion of its Widnes site. The investment at Stobart is hoped to create 3,450 jobs at the company itself.
The Stobart Group, Prologis and Halton Borough Council are working in partnership on the Mersey Multimodal Gateway Project.
Stobart Park at Mersey Multimodal Gateway in Widnes has exceptional communications with direct links to the west coast mainline, the M62 and the M56 motorways, the river Mersey and the Manchester canal.
Ast Signs have provided the directional, building and door signage. Pop-up displays, dibond prints and flat cut lettering on the outside walls.
