AstSigns featured on Eddie Stobart trucks and trailers on channel 5
Date: 23-05-2011Ast Signs staff featured on Eddie Stobart trucks and trailers on Friday evening. The first episode of the new series was aired at 8pm on 20th May. The show will run every Friday night on channel 5 for 8 weeks.
Ast Signs staff travelled down to Battersea Power station in London where William Stobart and Andrew Tinkler were sponsoring a charity ball to celebrate the companies 40th Anniversary. A brand new top-of-the-range truck was driven down to Battersea to take centre stage at the event. The FH16 Volvo truck was the first of its kind for Stobarts and it even has its own personalised number plate S708 ART. This vehicle is the reason Ast Signs staff were at the event which was for the Marie Keating foundation. The FH16 truck was liveried in a special Cancer Research UK wrap, guests at the event paid to have their name put on the side of the trailer. The Ast Signs fitters and production team printed the name there and then and applied it to the vehicle. A lucky member of the audience paid £5,000 to have their name on the front of the truck. The name that appears on the truck is Debby, again the Ast Signs fitters applied this infront of the audience while the event was in progress.
