Employee of the year Award at Ast Signs
Date: 10-02-2010The Christmas Party for 2009 was held at the Fantails Restaurant in Weatheral. As always the food was excellent and the snowy weather added to the Christmas spirit! Everyone works extremely hard over the year with long hours and challenging deadlines being the norm so it was time to let off some steam!
As has become tradition at these evenings we had a small award ceremony to acknowledge some of our star performers for 2009. Throughout the week prior to the party all staff voted for the annual awards which resulted in the following:
Janette Walton was awarded the Special recognition award to acknowledge her contribution to the team over the past 12 months
Breanne Cowburn was awarded Newcomer of the Year. Breanne has integrated in to her role in the company well and has become a valuable member of the team.
Gemma Lowis was recognised for her exceptional dedication, commitment, and passion by being awarded Employee of the Year 2009.
Everyone had a great night judging by the sore heads and red eyes witnessed in the hotel reception the morning after!
