Approved vehicle wrap fitters
We are approved by both of the leading suppliers of vehicle wrapping materials, Avery Dennison and 3M. Our fitters have been trained by 3M and Avery. To offer you additional peace of mind we also run one of only two approved vehicle wrap training schools in the UK which shows that your vehicles will be in good hands when they need wrapping. Vehicle wrapping is a specialist area and can go badly wrong if dealt with by inexperienced companies and fitters

We are proud to have picked up several Regional, National and European awards for our vehicle wrapping. Last year we picked up the Sign Industry Awards ‘Sign Business of the Year’ and this summer we received a European Award from FESPA acknowledging our vehicle wrapping work with the Eddie Stobart contract. As a business we have picked up several other awards and our Managing Director, Mark Aston has also picked up a number of individual awards over the last few years. We are fortunate enough to deal with some great fleet contracts such as Eddie Stobart Ltd, Shell, DHL, Parcelforce and C Butt Ltd. We deal with lots of haulage and logistics companies across the UK who take great pride in the look of their vehicles.
UK wide
Our three offices are based across the North of England and we have a network of fitters throughout the UK. In addition we also have several other shared offices further south and we are also looking at opening two more offices soon. Many of our contracts require us to fit at numerous locations around the country so wherever you are we will be able to help. Our fitters are located in Cumbria, North West, North East, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands, Kent, Essex, Hampshire, London, South West and Ireland.
Quality systems
If you deal with AstSigns you can be assured that you are dealing with a highly professional company. In 2006 we were awarded the ISO9001 which acknowledged our quality management systems which we had in place. We are currently applying for the ISO14001 environmental standard. We invest a lot of time and money into our systems to ensure we meet our customers’ standards.
Online ordering systems for vehicle graphics
Last year we invested heavily in an online ordering system for our fleet customers. This means they can log on to their personal area of our website and order online. They can use this to order a new vehicle wrap, to re-order a previous one or to order an individual panel if for example, their vehicle has been involved in an accident. Another benefit of this system is that our customers can allow their approved body shops to also log-in and order online. The customer receives a quote and a schedule within a few minutes.

Operating from purpose built premises in Penrith, Manchester and Carlisle we are fully equipped with state-of-the-art vehicle graphics technology. We have over a dozen wide format digital printers, cutters and laminators to enable us to produce large scale, high quality vehicle wrapping work. Reinvesting in the business has always been a priority here at AstSigns and we've recently invested in our largest and most impressive printer to date, which is specifically for the vehicle graphics industry. We're proud of our production facilities and we welcome any visitors.
People
We pride ourselves on our service levels and this is down to our people. We are fortunate enough to have a great tight-knit team of people with a vast amount of knowledge, experience, skills and qualifications. The majority of the staff have been with us a long time and know their jobs and the vehicle graphics industry very well including our management team, our account managers, our designers, our production staff and our fitters.
