Vehicle Wrapping Training
At AstSigns we employ a large team of applicators experienced in the art of vehicle wrapping. Our fitters have been trained by both 3M and Avery who are the leading manufacturers and suppliers of vehicle wrapping materials. We run one of only two UK approved Avery Vehicle Wrap Training Schools for fellow sign companies. We were chosen to be the trainers due to our expertise in the vehicle wrapping industry. We have now trained hundreds of sign companies over the last few years which has helped with the growth in popularity of vehicle wrapping.
Vehicle wrap course
The vehicle wrap training is a two day course:
Day 1 – this starts with an overview of the different types of vehicle wrap materials that are on the market. We talk through the different preparation techniques which are essential for vehicle wrapping and we discuss the different vehicle wrap tools that are on the market. We also cover the potential pitfalls of wrapping and how to overcome these common issues. By late morning we are into the hands-on sessions where we start to learn all the tips and tricks of vehicle preparation and the positioning of graphics.
Day 2 – the full day is spent practicing the art of vehicle wrapping with dedicated one-to-one tuition using digitally printed graphics. We can tailor the sessions according to your ability to ensure you get the most out of the course. You will get the chance to wrap different types of vehicles and to use different materials and tools. As a group we will fully wrap at least one vehicle to give you a feel of how to deal with some of the trickier areas of a vehicle wrap such as the door handles, wing mirrors, bumpers etc. Finally, we’ll have a recap session to get your feedback and to ensure that you have fully understood the key principles of vehicle wrapping.
The number of people attending this course is limited to 8 to ensure that there is enough one-to-one tuition.
